世界新闻摄影比赛(WORLD PRESS PHOTO，简称"WPP"，通称"荷赛")自1957年以来，已成功举办63届，被认为是国际专业新闻摄影比赛中最具权威性的赛事。北京时间2020年2月25日晚7点，荷赛官方公布了2020年度图片奖获奖作品提名名单。
本届共有来自全球125个国家的4283名摄影师提交了73996件作品。其中荷赛图片奖被提名者有44位，来自24个国家。但是同去年一样，获奖名单中依然没有出现中国摄影师的身影，唯一出现的中国题材是General News组照中法新社记者Nicolas Asfouri拍摄的香港的※※※※。
据悉，所有获奖者们的最终名次将在4月16日的荷赛颁奖典礼上揭晓。部位获奖作品先睹为快。
